The Rotterdam Piano Trade J. Van Urk B.V. started in 1898 and, under the inspiring leadership of four generations from Urk, was a household name in the world of acoustic pianos and grand pianos, both in the Netherlands and abroad.

Since 2013, Pianohandel J. Van Urk B.V., under the name Bol & Van Urk Piano's en Vleugels B.V., has been part of Bol Piano's. The instrument collection was expanded with the exclusive Bol range, meaning that Bol & Van Urk now also offers space for new Steingraeber & Söhne, C. Bechstein, Bechstein Premium, W. Hoffmann, G. Steinberg and Perzina instruments.

Bol & van Urk offers you a very wide choice of used instruments. The range not only consists of used cars from well-known Asian brands such as Yamaha and Kawai, but also a variety of used cars from renowned German piano and grand piano builders such as Grotrian Steinweg, Schimmel, Seiler, Ibach, Sauter and Steinway & Sons.

Bol & van Urk, just outside the hustle and bustle of Rotterdam, is easily accessible and there are plenty of free parking spaces. Krimpen aan den IJssel is easy to reach via the A16 and A20 and bus line 194 runs from the Capelse bridge to the door at Bol & van Urk.

Our store in Krimpen a/d IJssel has a very extensive collection of instruments, both new and second-hand, from top brands including C. Bechstein, Bösendorfer, Steingraeber & Söhne, W. Hoffmann, Zimmermann, Perzina, G. Steinberg, Yamaha, Kawai, Sauter, Grotrian Steinweg, Schimmel, Steinway & Sons and many other brands.

From beginner pianos to the absolute professional top class of grand pianos are available in our showroom and everything can be compared with the same acoustic properties.

Our second-hand pianos have been completely checked and checked and, where necessary, overhauled so that they are in very good condition and also fall under a standard 3-year warranty. Technical work is carried out in-house in our workshop.

The design of our showroom offers customers the perfect opportunity to compare a very wide range of instruments in all price ranges and customers are expertly assisted by our sales advisors and technicians who, in addition to a great knowledge of instruments, also have a great affinity with pianos and playing the piano and can demonstrate the instruments to customers when necessary.
