Product
You will receive the instrument of your choice for each instrument, which we reserve based on the serial number of the piano or grand piano. Each instrument has been fully checked for technical quality and cabinet work. New and used. If there is any damage to a used instrument, we can usually repair it 100% upon request.

Bol has a large network of piano tuners who take care of tunings throughout the country. To get in touch with our BOL Tuning Center, call Marina or Alma who will make the tuning appointments and ensure that your instrument is tuned.
Tel. 020-7863909 of info@bolpianostemcentrale.nl
The cost of a tuning is €95 for a piano or grand piano. If your instrument was purchased from us, the initial service tuning is usually at our expense.
It is best if you have your instrument tuned at least twice a year. It is of course important for the tuning, but also for the maintenance and warranty of your instrument. Cold or warmth is less important for your instrument, but its constancy is. A mood is often necessary when the seasons change.
Delivery
We take care of the transport of the piano or grand piano ourselves with a very specially equipped truck. If you live on one floor, the truck is equipped with a special so-called crane that reaches to a great height or even maneuvers the instrument over the roof to place it in your room.
It is best not to use artificial materials. Our advice is to drape a simple damp (i.e. not wet) chamois leather cloth on a surface and gently wipe the instrument and keys with straight strokes.
Be especially careful with unclean cloths that may contain sand or the like, as this will cause scratches. Actually, this is all you need to do every now and then. Be especially careful with moisture in and around the piano or grand piano so that it does not get between the keys or into the instrument. For example, you should really avoid placing a filled glass on your instrument. If you do have light scratches on the piano, you can order something called Polifinal from us, which, mixed with water, polishes away lighter or heavier scratches as you increase/decrease the mixing with water. Without water it is a pure polishing paste. The product is possibly the only safe product we know since piano polyester has a very fine structure (much finer than, for example, cars) and Polifinal is without silicone (which could cause scratches).
It is always important to know that an instrument sounds different at home than in the store, simply because the acoustic environment is different. The piano or grand piano may also become slightly out of tune during transport.
The instrument must first acclimatize and relax. In any case, the instrument can be acoustically intoned through a special intonation process where we can then change/adjust the sound according to your wishes using special tools. Our technicians have been specially trained for this by the manufacturers. As for the tuning: this is done a few weeks after delivery of the piano or grand piano and is in most cases included in the price of purchase. It is advisable that your instrument is tuned twice a year.
We supply transparent or black/brown coasters under all our pianos or grand pianos (service package) that protect your floor against scratches or damage. Also available are rubber coasters that at the same time provide sound-absorbing effect on the contact floor.
Maintenance
We usually supply you with a hygrometer in our service package that you hang somewhere in the room. 50% is ideal. But, as long as the percentage varies between 40% (winter) and 60% summer, that is fine. If too much is below 40% or above 60%, you can, in consultation with us, consider purchasing a so-called Dampp Chaser, which regulates the relative humidity in your instrument. We will be happy to send you the documentation upon request without obligation.

No, that's not necessary. It is nice to know if you do not come with your own transport, but for example by train. If necessary, we will be happy to pick you up from Veenendaal Center Station or Veenendaal “De Klomp”.
Even if you want to come by for a special model and you want to be sure whether the instrument is in stock and has not just been sold, it is useful to make an appointment. Naturally, we always try to update the range on the website, but sometimes an instrument may have just been sold.
