Station piano Utrecht sounds like old times thanks to a tuner
From light melodies to heavy-handed hitting of the keys. The piano in the middle of the largest station in the Netherlands has to endure a lot. The musical instrument at Utrecht Central must therefore be tuned on average once a month.
On Friday it happened again and a piano tuner from Bol Pianos got to work. NS spokesperson Carola Belderbos: "The piano is used a lot. You have to take some care of it, because it has to continue to sound."

The station piano has been located in the hall of Utrecht Central Station since December. In the meantime, hundreds, if not thousands, of waiting travelers have already performed a tune, such as the song Piano Man by the American pianist Billy Joel.
